MCO - Day 22

8 April 2020     Day 22 of Movement Control Order

Humming “Part Of Your World”, a song from “The Little Mermaid”, I watched as hubby deftly fried a slice of grouper. I was reminded of how the little mermaid, Ariel, wished wistfully that she was in another world, the world of humans. That resonates true with a lot of people, who always think that the grass is greener on the other side. But looking at the current global situation, I can’t see a greener or safer place. On the other hand, I can think of many places I wouldn’t want to be in right now. The best place to be in is always HOME.

Back to today’s dinner, after hubby fried the fish, I whisked up the sauce and poured it over the fish. Voila! That’s sweet and sour fish we had for dinner, in addition to watercress soup and RM15 worth of roast pork that I bought from Uncle Long after popping into Caring Pharmacy to get my supply of Viartril-S.
