Thanks to social media like Facebook and WhatsApp, I’ve been able to keep in touch with friends, family and ex-students who are abroad. I always wonder what’s it like where they are, and pray everything’s well with them.
As Easter approaches, my thoughts go out specially to all my loved ones, near and far. I pray that our Lord keeps everyone safe in His loving care always.
As a pre-Easter celebration, we had a platter of steamed prawns with Shaoxing wine and stir-fried “siew pak choy”. For dessert, we had my favourite mango and kiwi fruit. Mmm...the sweet simple pleasures of life!
