        Aromatic. Spicy. Tangy. Flavoursome. Colourful. That’s our dinner today. Gorgeous grouper met sexy okras, seductive tomato and sensuous onion in Assam Pedas. It was love at first sight and they all blended well. Happy ending...in our bellies...burp!

Deep fried shrimp wantons

    Dinner was a little late though. I had put the rice into the rice cooker before proceeding to start on my new “job”... hubby’s barber. I was seriously worried about taking on this new job. And guess what? In my trepidation, I actually forgot to switch on the rice cooker! We only realised this gaffe when the dishes were ready and I was about to scoop out the steaming hot rice 🤦‍♀️ But hubby did not mind the delayed dinner as he was happy with his haircut. Hmm...should I make a job switch from teacher to barber? 💇‍♂️
