It was such a simple fare we had tonight, but tasty nonetheless. On the table were golden brown ikan bulus or silver whiting, all cleaned and fried heroically by Derrick. My tasks only involved marinating the fish, preparing the cili padi dip and cooking the veg dish, which was stir-fried beansprouts.
